Christopher SmithFor 8 years, Christopher has served as Art Director for the Palm Beach Post newspaper in West Palm Beach, Florida. He manages the News Graphics department overseeing the production of graphics and illustrations for the newsroom. Prior to coming to The Post, Chris was a graphic artist at the Atlanta Journal-Consitution in Atlanta, Georgia. There he served as the style editor for the graphics department as well as the graphics coordinator for the Horizon section in the Business department. He also occasionally filled in as the front page designer for all 5 editions of the Constitution. Chris’ career in Journalism began at his hometown paper, The Ocala Star-Banner, where he interned for 2 years while earning a degree in Graphic Design at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. After graduation, Chris held the following positions at the Star-Banner: Graphic Artist, Senior Graphic Artist and Graphics Editor where his duties included managing the graphics department and designing the front page, local front and features front pages.

Chris has been a member of PBABJ for 8 years. He's held the offices of Treasurer, Vice-President of Print and President. Currently he serves as Treasurer and Scholarship Chair.
