Why Should I Become A Member?
Because you'll meet and network with journalists and communications professionals of color who have similar interests. You'll be able to participate in PBABJ sponsored professional development seminars, workshops, and social functions. PBABJ welcomes members from throughout Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. You do not have to be a journalist to join.
Membership Categories

Full Member - $35.00: Working journalists, including reporters, editors, photographers, newsroom managers, etc. who produce, gather and disseminate news for newspapers, television and radio stations, magazines, wire services, etc. and full-time freelance journalists.

Associate Member - $25.00: Part-time freelance journalists, individuals who work in related fields such as public relations, as well as academics who teach journalism, communications or media studies at an accredited college, university, community college or high school. Persons interested in community service.
- Student Member - Free. Members who are currently studying journalism, communications or media relations and are enrolled in academic programs in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
General member meetings take place once a month, generally on third Saturday. We are, however, considering changing that schedule so check back often for updates. Our next meeting is Wednesday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Palm Beach Post at 2751 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, FL 33405.
